Set in a beautiful late 19th century building overlooking the main city square of Uppsala, this is a project fueled with passion from the side of the landlord who aspired to turn the old bank into a landmark destination. The existing interior featured two distinct design schemes – the original by Ture Stenberg and the other from the late 1950s when the building was renovated by the design of Peter Celsing. While making sure to pay respect to both of these epochs, we added another comprehensive layer of sophistication to the entirety of the building’s interiors and graced the spaces with the finest vintage eclectic furnishing, art and décor. This is a project where no detail has been left to chance and it is a testament to our vision that commercial and hospitality interiors are as much about storytelling as they are about aesthetics, granting an opportunity for the inhabitant to escape the everyday – to dream and to feel inspired.
