Our commitment to projects ranges from exterior to interior and lighting design, bespoke solutions and furniture as well as product design. In the case of commercial and hospitality projects, it often extends to brand development as well. Our team consists of a handful of highly talented architects and designers with a shared passion for honest, compelling design executed with great care for details. In order to arrive at the best solutions in any given case, we draw on our broad background experience which – apart from architecture, interior and product design – also includes building engineering, project management and brand development.
While based in Sweden we also work internationally and have been involved in projects across Europe, USA and Asia. Our diverse experience grants us a broad perspective and lets us travel from micro to macro perspective seamlessly. Throughout the years our involvement in projects has spanned from small cabins in the wilderness to major developments in global capitals.
Studio RAM was founded by Ariel Ramirez, who currently serves as Principal architect. He was educated in both architecture and interior design at schools in Stockholm and New York and spent three years in Japan as a result of a fascination for Japanese architecture and its close relation between built environment and nature. Ariel has also developed a genuine interest for neuroscience and behavioral psychology related to the human perception of physical space. This in an effort to understand how we are affected by our surroundings and conversely, how we can shape it to have a positive impact on the human mind. Apart from his architectural background, he has held executive positions in global brand management and real estate development.
